On Wednesday, May 31, 2017 Martin’s Pond will be treated for watermilfoil and fanwort. Both are highly aggressive invasive plants that can quickly overtake small lakes and ponds. Martin’s Pond Community Pride Scholarship The Martin’s Pond Association is proud to offer a $500 scholarship to be awarded to a graduating senior from the Martin’s Pond neighborhood in North Reading towards the pursuit of college or trade school. In the spirit of community pride, neighbors fully funded this award. The scholarship will be awarded based on a submitted essay.
